Go-slow Laos holidays

Go-slow Asia is alive and well in Laos. Dubbed ‘The Land of a Million Elephants’, this place wears a rich cloak of green, its paddy fields and sugar palms making way for national parks that lay claim to some of the earth’s most breath-taking waterfalls. Gilded monasteries with low sweeping roofs echo a rich spiritual culture, while stunning caves and karst scenery promise a taste of intrepid, off-the-beaten-track travel in this landlocked and as-yet little visited part of Asia.
