The AVANI+ Fares Maldives Resort is an exclusive getaway located on the dreamy Fares Island in the Maldives’ Baa Atoll. There’s a choice of how you get there – there’s a short 35-minute seaplane ride from Malé International Airport, or a 20-minute domestic flight combined with a 35-minute speedboat ride (Comfort or Sapphire Class). Whichever you opt for, you’ll be sipping on a cocktail by the pool before you know it. Baa Atoll is ideal for those wanting to feel like the modern Robinson Crusoe, with its mesmerising marine life and unspoilt beaches aplenty.
The heart-shaped Baa Atoll is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and AVANI+ Fares is located close to Hanifaru Bay, where you can snorkel with over 100 manta rays and spot the occasional whale sharks. You’ll have access to countless diving sites, including the resort’s own 220-metre house reef with multi-coloured coral clusters and a kaleidoscope of tropical fish.
