The VARU Plan™ inclusions:
An all-inclusive package which includes all meals, speciality fine-dining, a selection of fine wines and spirits, non-motorised water sports, 2 snorkelling excursions per day including snorkelling equipment as well as the Sunset Fishing and one other excursion. Also included are various theme nights, performance arts and activities, a fully stocked minibar and a 45-minute spa treatment per person for every 4-night stay, this is a cumulative offer and increases based on the length of stay.

Local Area
The journey from the Maldives’ Malé International Airport to VARU island is a treat in itself – you’ll experience a thrilling 40-minute speedboat transfer, taking in the jaw-dropping peacock-blue waters and palm-fringed beaches as you edge closer to your paradise home. During your getaway, extraordinary wildlife encounters will come thick and fast. Swim alongside manta rays, be entertained by playful dolphins, or immerse yourself in the vibrant underwater world on snorkelling excursions.
Located in North Malé Atoll, this region of the Maldives serves up several incredible dive sites. With experienced instructors and state-of-the-art gear, the PADI-certified dive centre at VARU will ensure you’re well looked after as you navigate below the Indian Ocean. Just a short boat ride away, Banana Reef dive site is famous for its vibrant coral formations and diverse marine life, such as barracudas and groupers. Manta Point is another popular spot, with its frequent reef shark and stingray sightings.
There’s plenty of experiences on dry land, too. If you fancy indulging in some retail therapy, head to the Malé local market. Located on the north waterfront, it’s where locals go to buy fresh produce and gifts. Majeedhee Magu is another spot where you can find a variety of items like jewellery, clothes, and groceries. And don’t forget to check out Chaandhanee Magu, which specialises in locally handcrafted souvenirs like Maldivian sailboats and woven mats to gift to loved ones back home.
