This 9-day Taste of Nepal does exactly what you’d wish for. It’s a chance to get to know the capital, Kathmandu, on your own and in the company of an English-speaking guide. You’ll experience the UNESCO sites, the street food stalls and the Buddhist stupas as well as enjoying a couple of nights in and around the vibrant Thamel district. You’ll also travel overland to the lakeside town of Pokhara for three nights. This is where hiking and the Himalayas come into their own with mountain monasteries creating bird’s eye views across Annapurna peaks and Phewa Lake. Completing the trip with a Jeep safari in Chitwan National Park, adds a sprinkling of animal action into the mix before you return to Kathmandu, sated and experienced.
