I am pleased to introduce the Tangerine Beach Hotel as our first tropical holiday since 2019. The hotel has long been a favourite of British holidaymakers, and we have worked with them to bring you exclusive additions to their standard all-inclusive package, as well as exclusive longer stay offers. It’s also great to include some excursions from this hotel, so that customers can experience even more of the local area. I particularly enjoyed the included visit to the tea plantation, to see how Britain’s favourite drink is produced from leaf to cup! Sri Lanka is such a welcoming place to be – you are always met with a smile – so it’s a great choice for those planning their first long-haul holiday or visiting the region for the first time. The joy of walking through the doors of this hotel and the warm welcome I received was amazing – it is one of my favourite tropical escape, and I am sure it will become a favourite with our customers too!

On the return journey, visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project, which protects and help hatch endangered sea turtle species.

At Devagiri, learn about tea production at a working plantation established in 1947 and managed by the same family for four generations. The excursion continues to the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, with time to walk the ramparts and explore streets shaped by Dutch and Portuguese influences.
