Arts & crafts

Escape into the central highlands and captivating coastline of Tasmania on this all-encompassing 11-day road trip. Picking up the car in the capital, Hobart, you’ll drive cross country to Strahan for a couple of days beside the seaside. It’s a sublimely scenic route with Cradle Mountain National Park, no distance at all from the mid-west coast. After experiencing the UNESCO gastronomy city of Launceston, you’ll head to Freycinet National Park on the central east coast before finally making your way back to Hobart. It’s a really well-considered self-drive tour with sensible distances to overnight accommodation providing peace of mind and plenty of free time.
