If you are keen to explore the stunning snowy peaks, waterways and alpine lakes of the Fiordland National Park, this 5 day itinerary will showcase nature at its finest. Enjoy some relaxation, lakeside views and kiwi hospitality at your Te Anau boutique lodge base. You’ll take a guided day walk along the famous Routeburn Track rewarded with incredible views and the chance to spot native birds along the way. Then enjoy an overnight cruise along the deepest of the South Island fiords, the serene Doubtful Sound, where you’ll have the chance to marvel at the scenery and spot marine life including dolphins, penguins and albatross. On your return to Te Anau, you’ll have a final night to enjoy the delicious local produce with excellent lobster and seafood on many menus, as well as a visit to the magical Glowworm caves.
