Batman's Hill on Collins Hotel

Batman's Hill on Collins Hotel - Dining1

Hand-Picked Hotel

If you’re looking for a charming hotel that’s centrally located in Melbourne, then look no further than Batman’s Hill on Collins. This striking hotel sits at the corner of Collins and Spencer Steet with an architectural style that nods to years gone by. Set in the heart of the Central Business District, you’ll be steps from Southern Cross Station and the Skybus Airport Shuttle’s city terminal.

Each of the 190 rooms and apartments boast contemporary design, and all the mod-cons you’d expect. With Studio Apartments featuring kitchens and dining spaces you can make this your home from home.

And you may wonder where the ‘superhero’ name comes from. Well, the hotel and local area is named after Tasmanian adventurer John Batman. Although now removed, there was once an 18 metre high hill located to the south of Collins Street and Southern Cross railway station. Look out for a steel marker the same height as the original hill.
