South Point
Hand-Picked Hotel
Luxury self-catering suites close to the attractions of Falmouth Harbour.
If you’re hoping to explore Antigua without being tied to an all-inclusive hotel, the 23 self-catering suites at South Point could be just what you’re after. Situated alongside Antigua Yacht Club Marina, within walking distance of the restaurants and bars at Falmouth Harbour, this is somewhere to soak up the sunshine and take it easy at your own pace. The location makes it especially popular with a maritime crowd, who come here to enjoy Antigua Sailing Week, yacht regattas and sport fishing tournaments.
Waterfront suites are super spacious and provide not only fully equipped kitchens and comfortable living areas but also access to the white-sand beach. It’s the perfect place to try your hand at snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding and sailing (all of which can be arranged by the hotel’s well-connected concierge) before settling down to a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern meze at the onsite Maia restaurant.
With optional activities close by, including tennis, squash, and spa centres, as well as a beautiful swimming pool and sunbathing area, South Point Antigua is fast-becoming one of English Harbour’s best-loved boutique hotels.

Local Area
Antigua is a hotspot for sunbathers and sailors alike, with the marinas and beaches around the south coast certain to appeal to fans of seafaring heritage and screensaver views. Nelson’s Dockyard, in English Harbour, has maritime museums and upmarket yacht clubs and is best viewed from the scenic lookout point at Shirley Heights.
South Point Antigua lies around 45 minutes’ drive from the airport, which is situated on the northern side of the island, and about the same distance from the capital, St. John’s.
Explore the Antigua coastline and you’ll discover enough white-sand beaches for every day of the year, with Half Moon Bay on the east coast, Rendezvous Bay down south, and Dickenson Bay in the northwest all up there with some of the best in the Caribbean.
