Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

East West Towers, Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, Bahamas

Hand-Picked Hotel

Large and luxurious golf and spa resort, set on Cable Beach.

Water rides, laser-lit fountains, and the largest casino complex in the Caribbean – if you’re planning on taking it easy on holiday, the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar might make you think again. In addition to the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, which offers 1,800 guest rooms and suites, this extensive oceanside resort on Nassau’s Cable Beach features two additional hotels – the ultra-deluxe Rosewood Baha Mar and the hip and trendy SLS Baha Mar – and we can book you into any of them.

There’s something for everyone here, including a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, seven swimming pools, nine tennis courts, and a wide range of non-motorised water sports to enjoy right off the beach. You’ll also find a choice of dining venues serving everything from Caribbean cuisine and chop house classics to regional Chinese dishes and French pastries at Café Madeleine.

If lady luck’s been on your side in the casino, there are several ways you can celebrate from splashing out in the resort’s designer label boutiques and jewellery stores, fine dining at celebrity chef restaurants or champagne cocktails at the T2 Cigar Bar. When you’ve shopped, explored, and made the most of each corner – head to ESPA Baha Mar to unwind. The treatments menu here includes wraps, massages and facials.

Local Area

The island nation of the Bahamas was once considered part of the British colonies, but these days it’s got much more in common with the fun in the sun ethos of Florida.

There are direct flights from the UK into the capital city of Nassau on the archipelago’s main island of New Providence, otherwise the Bahamas is well served with dozens of flight connections from the USA. Miami, for example, is just an hour away by plane.

Once you’ve arrived in the Bahamas, you’ll find a wide range of beachside resorts and all-encompassing activity and leisure complexes. Cable Beach, on Nassau’s north coast, is especially blessed with beachside action and just five minutes’ drive from Lynden Pindling International Airport. With its colonial-style buildings and extensive shopping, downtown Nassau is worth an afternoon’s explorations, otherwise you could head across the Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge to Paradise Island, which also boasts more than its fair share of mega resorts, golf courses, water parks and soft white strips of sand.

Please note

  • Just so you know, a Resort Fee of USD $71.50 per room, per night is included in the price. This covers the provision of selected hotel facilities, amenities and services, and both the inclusions and the fee itself are subject to change without notice. An additional amount of USD $21.78 per room, per night for mandatory gratuities will also be charged.
