Relaxed boutique resort with restaurants right on Grand Anse Beach.

Conveniently located close to the airport and the lively capital, St. George’s, Coyaba is a laid-back boutique beach resort featuring 80 guest rooms. It’s been lovingly run by the same Grenadian family for more than 35 years, so you’ll enjoy a friendly, personalised service. Other highlights include an incredible location – the hotel is tucked among tropical gardens and overlooks the famous Grand Anse Beach.

There are lots of activities to choose from here, including tennis, yoga, tai chi classes and practicing your swing at a nearby nine-hole golf course. Snorkels, sea kayaks and sailing craft can also be borrowed, and you can learn the basics of scuba diving in the resort’s palm-lined swimming pool.

A full range of massage and reflexology services take care of ‘me time’ and the swim-up pool bar is just right for sociable afternoons in the sun. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, the Coyaba Beach Resort has a poolside restaurant and a smart fine dining eatery. There’s also lots of choice in Grand Anse Bay if you fancy eating out. As for evening entertainment? Expect live music and dancing under the stars.

Local Area

Set sail for Grenada and you’ll find yourself on the southeastern edge of the Caribbean Sea. It’s a relatively small island – just 20 miles long and 12 miles wide – and easy enough to drive around in a day. Most travellers tend to touch down on the island via Maurice Bishop International Airport. There’s also a cruise ship terminal in St George’s, the capital.

Staying down south in the section commonly known as ‘the Lime’ allows you to make the most of some of Grenada’s best beaches – Grand Anse Beach and Morne Rouge Beach. It’s also where you’ll find the majority of boutique resorts and hotels in Grand Anse Bay.

If you’re inclined to explore inland, you’ll discover the nutmeg plantations that have given Grenada its ‘Spice Island’ title. There are also numerous walking trails leading to waterfalls such as Concord Falls and Mt Carmel Falls as well as hikes around the foothills of the highest point on the island, Mount St. Catherine.

Please note

  • Just so you know, this hotel does not currently charge an additional Resort Fee (subject to change without notice).
  • Also, Coyaba Beach Resort will be constructing a new beach bar from 06 May 2024 to 31 August 2024, with work due to take place from 9am-5pm (Monday to Saturday). The small building project is located well away from the swimming pool and guestrooms, so any noise is expected to be minimal. There will be no disruption to the hotel’s normal services and operation. The hotel’s tennis court will, however, be closed for regular maintenance from 19-31 August 2024.
