Local Area
St. Lucia is the perfect place to head to for sailors and sun worshippers, alike, with the warm Windward Island breeze enticing a laid back, easy-going ambience. Explore around the island and you’ll find a wealth of outdoor activities ranging from sea kayaking, snorkeling and sailing to hiking around the Grand and Petit Pitons on the southwest coast.
Elsewhere, it’s the vibrant street parties and fish fries at Gros Islet, Rodney Bay and the capital, Castries, that steal the show. This is also where the majority of white sand beaches and 5-star spa resorts reside on the island’s northwest coast.
Head further north and the lush green headland around Pigeon Island National Park is perfect for day trippers. It’s also one of the best places in St. Lucia to catch the sunset, especially if you’ve just completed the slightly challenging hike to Signal Peak.

- ST. LUCIA TOURISM ACCOMMODATION FEE: USD $6 per person, per night for guests 18 years+ and $3 per person/per night for guests between the ages of 12 to 17 years will be charged to the guest.
