Optional excursions
UNESCO Split & Trogir Excursion
1 / 6
This full-day excursion begins with a guided walk through the historic centre of Split. Highlights include the National Theatre, the lively local market, and the seafront promenade known as the Riva. At the heart of the city stands Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest surviving examples of Roman architecture. The journey continues to the medieval town of Trogir. Surrounded by water and connected to the mainland by a bridge, Trogir is celebrated for its remarkably well-preserved Romanesque and Renaissance buildings. Its maze of narrow streets and stone houses tells the story of centuries of rich history and culture.
UNESCO Dubrovnik
1 / 6
Enjoy a guided tour of Dubrovnik, one of Croatia’s most beautifully preserved historic cities. Walk along the medieval city walls for sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea and the terracotta rooftops below, then explore the highlights of the UNESCO-listed Old Town. Discover its ancient fortresses, cobbled streets, and elegant stone buildings before enjoying some free time to browse local shops, relax in charming cafés, or visit notable landmarks.
Krka National Park
1 / 6
Krka National Park is famed for its series of spectacular waterfalls, cascading into pools that reflect the rich greenery of the surrounding forest. We’ll follow trails through the park, admiring the landscape and watching for wildlife. En route, we’ll pass stone houses, workshops and watermills; for more sightseeing, you’ll have the chance to hop on a boat and take in the views from the water.
Omiš
1 / 6
Visit the coastal town of Omiš, set where the emerald-green Cetina River meets the Adriatic Sea. Once a stronghold of the notorious Corsairs of Almissa, Omiš boasts a fascinating maritime and defensive history. In medieval times, its strategic position and swift Sagitta ships made it a formidable centre of power. Today, visitors can wander through the town’s historic centre, explore the dramatic river canyon, and take in the scenic surroundings that reveal its storied past.
Boat Excursion Hvar and Bol
1 / 6
Enjoy a full-day island-hopping excursion to two of Croatia’s most celebrated destinations – Hvar and Brač. Begin with a leisurely cruise to the island of Hvar, known for its elegant harbour, historic architecture, and relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. You’ll have free time to explore the town, visit local cafés, or simply soak up the island’s charm. The journey then continues to the island of Brač, where a freshly prepared lunch with drinks will be served on board. On arrival, there’s ample time to discover Brač’s distinctive beauty, take a swim in the crystal-clear waters, or unwind on the beach. The boat returns to Makarska Port in the late afternoon.
Biokovo Nature Park
1 / 6
Behind the coastal town of Makarska lies a protected area of olive groves, fruit orchards and hillside villages leading up to the ridge of the Biokovo mountain range. Our walk will follow a well-marked path through this scenic area, taking us via old stone villages such as Kotsina. We’ll also have time to explore the Biokovo Botanical Garden, where there’s a focus on the conservation of native mountain species.
