Paphos Orientation
1 / 3
With our knowledgeable guide leading the way, we’ll begin with a leisurely stroll through the ancient streets, where we'll soak in the lively atmosphere and learn about the city's fascinating past. Marvel at the impressive architecture of the UNESCO-listed sites and uncover hidden gems tucked away in every corner. From the majestic Paphos Castle to the intricate mosaics of the House of Dionysus, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Kolossi Village
1 / 3
Step back in time as you explore this charming Cypriot village, nestled amidst serene countryside landscapes. Wander through narrow cobblestone streets lined with traditional stone houses adorned with vibrant bougainvillea. We’ll explore the fascinating history of the majestic Kolossi Castle, a medieval fortress that once stood as a bastion of strength and power.
Episkopi Village
1 / 3
Spend some time visiting Episkopi on this half-day excursion. This charming village sits north-east of Paphos, surrounded by vineyards, citrus groves, rocky hills and forests laced with streams that lead to the Ezousas River. The village's traditional core remains unchanged, with old stone features, narrow streets, and houses made of local limestone. Visit the botanical garden, enjoy a coffee at a cafe with a stunning valley view, and perhaps light a candle in the 12th-century church dedicated to Saint Hilarion the Great (who saw out the final years of his hermit life in a hillside cell just outside the village). And bring your binoculars – nearby is the Great Rock of Episkopi, home to a number of rare bird species.
Location
In front of the hotel a seafront promenade runs the length of the beach to the shops, bars and restaurants of Paphos harbour, just over one mile away. Here, you will also find the UNESCO-listed archaeological site of Nea Paphos, home to prehistoric monuments. Behind this ancient site is the House of Dionysus with its mosaic-tiled floor. The Tomb of the Kings, a necropolis of catacombs, is around two miles from the hotel. The nearest bus stop is 20 metres away. The drive to/from the airport takes approximately 30 minutes.
Out and about
On the island’s southern coast, the extensive ruins of Kourion feature a Greco-Roman theatre, numerous mosaics, a bathing complex and more. Entrance costs around €5 pp and you can reach the site by bus in approximately one hour. Continue a little further by bus and you will reach the city of Limassol.
Limassol
The lively city of Limassol has a vibrant marina and promenade lined with shops. Take a stroll around the narrow lanes of its quaint Old Town, where you will find plenty of shops, a cathedral, town hall and medieval castle.
