Location
There’s more to Paphos than sun, sea, and idyllic beaches. This Mediterranean hotspot has a history dating back centuries and on every corner, you’ll stumble across ancient ruins or reminders of the past. Visit Kato Paphos, explore the cobbled streets of Ktima and discover hidden treasures including the catacombs. Or perhaps head to the House of Dionysus with its intricate mosaic-tiled floor and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Tombs of the Kings. It’s not to be missed.
The a la carte restaurants here are a real talking point, and you can dine in each one once a week as part of your all-inclusive package. If it’s a special occasion, I’d highly recommend the Italian, Garibaldi – it’s a fine dining affair with a four-course set menu. The pedestrianised seafront promenade is great for walkers and joggers, too, as it's completely flat and goes on for miles.

Optional excursions
Episkopi Village
Spend some time visiting Episkopi on this half-day excursion. This charming village sits north-east of Paphos, surrounded by vineyards, citrus groves, rocky hills and forests laced with streams that lead to the Ezousas River. The village's traditional core remains unchanged, with old stone features, narrow streets, and houses made of local limestone. Visit the botanical garden, enjoy a coffee at a cafe with a stunning valley view, and perhaps light a candle in the 12th-century church dedicated to Saint Hilarion the Great (who saw out the final years of his hermit life in a hillside cell just outside the village). And bring your binoculars – nearby is the Great Rock of Episkopi, home to a number of rare bird species.
