Painting in Cyprus

Whether you're an experienced artist or a curious beginner, this painting holiday invites you to explore, express, and enjoy the boundless possibilities of art. You’ll be guided by art teacher and expert host Marios, who’ll help you practice and develop your drawing and painting skills. Four hours a day of art themed activities
You’ll start the week feeling like an artist’s apprentice, familiarising yourself with basic and complementary colours and with different materials and methods of drawing, such as inks, pen, brush, acrylics, and pastels. As the week progresses, your skills will develop as you practice tonal scales and proportions, before moving on to portraits and face shading, as well as the art of nature and flora. Channelling your inner Picasso, you’ll spend time choosing and sketching out a theme for your final piece before spending the last day painting your masterpiece.
Location
It’s an impressive location with direct beach access and is within walking distance of local bars and tavernas. If you’re looking for day trips, Paphos is just a 25-minute drive away. Regular buses run from the hotel to the harbour for €2 per person. You’ll also find cycling and walking routes nearby and it’s an hour’s drive to the pine-forested foothills of Mount Olympos. Getting here is straightforward with Paphos International Airport just 40 minutes’ drive south.
If you want to get away and spend the week learning new skills, this special interest break is the one for you. Taking place in the hotel resort at their very own Arts and Crafts Centre, you will be taught by a Guinness world record artist with over 30 years of experience.
