Holiday location
Local Area
Letojanni is a small town set on the east coast of Sicily between Messina and Catania. It has a long sand and pebble beach and a range of local restaurants, shops, and bars in the town. You can sit at one of the typical cafes along the seafront and watch the world go by over a ‘granita’. Or perhaps you might try ‘panzerotti’, a type of savoury fried pizza that’s from this region that makes a filling lunchtime snack. A trip to nearby Taormina is well worth it. It’s the oldest resort in Sicily and remains popular for its chic boutiques and cafes serving coffee and pastries.
