Local Area

Letojanni is a small town set on the east coast of Sicily between Messina and Catania. It has a long sand and pebble beach and a range of local restaurants, shops, and bars in the town. You can sit at one of the typical cafes along the seafront and watch the world go by over a ‘granita’. Or perhaps you might try ‘panzerotti’, a type of savoury fried pizza that’s from this region that makes a filling lunchtime snack. A trip to nearby Taormina is well worth it. It’s the oldest resort in Sicily and remains popular for its chic boutiques and cafes serving coffee and pastries.

Optional excursions

Optional excursions can only be booked in resort and are subject to minimum numbers

Godfather Tour (included excursion)

1/4

Drive to Forza D'Agrò, a charming village located above Taormina. Famous now for being one of the locations in the film, The Godfather, here you'll stop for a short tour. Continue to Savoca, another location setting, and very typical of old Sicily. Perhaps stop at Bar Vitelli for a coffee and a Sicilian cake (not included).
