Location
Tucked away on Gran Canaria’s southern coast, San Agustin offers a peaceful, waterfront retreat. The nearest shops are less than 100 yards away and the lively resort of Playa del Ingles, which has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants, is just under two miles away along the promenade and wooden walkway. While the famous Sahara-like sand dunes of Maspalomas are around three-and-a-half miles away. The nearest bus stop from the hotel is 220 yards away. The drive to/from the airport takes approximately 20 minutes.
Out and about
The attractive harbour town of Puerto de Mogán is approximately 18 miles west along the coast. Travel 30 miles north to see the Bandama Crater, which was created during eruptions over 2000 years ago.

This charming town evolves around its marina and fishing harbour, which is lined with whitewashed, two-storey buildings. The narrow alleyways of the Old Town lead up to the Mirador (lookout point) where you can enjoy panoramic views across the beach, harbour and sea.
Maspalomas Dunes
Recognised by Canarian government as a Nature Reserve, the 400 hectares of the Maspolmas dunes offer a unique range of ecosystems. There are numerous trails through the reserve from where you can observe wildlife and explore the unusual terrain.

Enjoy all-inclusive buffet meals at The Food Garden, where dishes are created with produce from local farmers and the hotel’s own farm located in Veneguera, the interior of the island.
Breakfast is available between 0700-1030

The hotel also has an á la carte restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine (one dinner included here every five nights, additional meals extra charge).
