Enjoy a full day guided excursion to two of Barcelona’s historic green spaces. In the morning, we’ll visit the Laberint d’Horta Gardens (approx. 39 miles from the hotel), the oldest conserved garden in the city, known for its neoclassical maze and romantic landscaping. After a picnic lunch, travel by coach to the Fundació Agustí Pedro Pons, a 16th–17th-century residence set within peaceful gardens. We’ll have a guided tour of the house and grounds, learning about its architectural evolution and cultural significance.
Santa Clotilde and Marimurtra gardens

Today begins with a visit to the Santa Clotilde Historical Gardens, located around 9 miles from the hotel in Lloret de Mar. Overlooking the sea, these Italian Renaissance-style gardens feature sculpted hedges, marble statues and panoramic coastal views. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to the Marimurtra Botanical Gardens in Blanes, approximately 8 miles away by coach. Founded by German botanist Carl Faust, these gardens are home to thousands of Mediterranean and tropical plant species, set across landscaped terraces above the sea.
Montjuïc garden highlights

These atmospheric gardens are set among the remains of medieval walls and offer views over the city.

There is a sandy beach, accessible via an underpass, 437 yards away which stretches for miles in both directions. The nearest bus stop from the hotel is approximately 383 yards away and the train station is just under a mile away. The drive to/from the airport takes approximately one hour and 10 minutes.
Out and about
The coastal train stops a few yards away from the hotel and visits the nearby towns of Pineda de Mar and Malgrat de Mar, just a stop away in either direction. The train service from Santa Susanna links to Barcelona, around 37 miles away. While Girona, around 28 miles away, is accessible by bus.

This is coastal town is known for its vast sandy beach. There are weekly markets in the town, where over 100 stalls sell fresh food, clothes, accessories and more.

Known for its blend of modernist and Gothic architecture, Barcelona is home to famous landmarks like the Sagrada Família Basilica and UNESCO-listed Park Güell. It has multiple shopping areas, such as Las Ramblas and Passeig de Gràcia, as well as one of the world’s best tapas scenes.
