Location
The hotel is far enough from Estepona to provide privacy around the property and space on the beach, but a 45-minute stroll is enough to take you the marina and a little further to town. Estepona itself has real Spanish character, which is evident in its cobbled streets and sun-splashed plazas. The town is known for its bold, colourful street murals, all painted by local artists, which have transformed the town into a museum of urban art. It’s a place where you can truly relax and unwind, while still enjoying s...

Optional excursions
Gibraltar
1 / 4
Today we’ll really get under the skin of Gibraltar as we learn more about the relationship with Britain and what it means to be part of Spain’s Iberian Peninsula. We’ll take the cable car to the summit of the Rock and look out over the Bay of Algeciras and Morocco’s Atlas Mountain from 1,476 feet. We’ll also visit the 8th century Moorish Castle and uncover Gibraltar’s military importance within a network of subterranean siege tunnels. From an intriguing history and stunning scenery to wild monkeys and crispy calentita, strap yourself in for this excellent all-day excursion.
Gibraltar Bus City Tour FD
1 / 4
Today’s excursion takes you to one of Britain’s best known overseas territories, Gibraltar. It’s a chance to see the world-famous Rock – a 426-metre-high limestone mountain – and maybe a troop of monkeys along the way. The journey from the hotel follows the coast road and takes just under an hour. On arrival, you’ll swap to a minibus and meet your friendly driver/tour guide. After finding out more about the iconic Rock, you’ll travel south to Punta de Europa where you can sometimes see across the Strait of Gibraltar to the shores of north Africa. From here, you’ll visit the stalactites and stalagmites illuminated within Cueva de San Miguel (St Michael’s Cave) before the tour comes to an end. The rest of the time – approximately three hours – has been left free for you to shop, sunbathe, and enjoy the sights at your leisure.
Gibraltar Dolphin Watching
1 / 4
If you’ve ever wanted to see a pod of dolphins or a whale in the wild, this is your chance. After a drive down to Gibraltar, we’ll set sail from the harbour in a boat that’s been designed for watching marine animals. It’s here, in the Strait of Gibraltar, that we’ll expect to find whales, dolphins, sunfish, and flying fish as well as sea birds such as shearwaters, terns, storks, and puffins. It’s a lovely way to spend an afternoon with the Spanish coastline, the Rock of Gibraltar, and the North African shores of Morocco, all adding to the enjoyment of watching animals in their natural habitat.
Gibraltar Shopping
1 / 4
We’ll pop across to Gibraltar today for a leisurely day of shopping and sightseeing. It’s a nice opportunity to relax and enjoy a stroll and maybe pick up a few souvenirs from the artisan shops in Casemates Square. If you’re looking for British brand name stores, head to Main Street for all your familiar favourites. Alternatively, if you’d prefer a more Andalucian experience, visit the indoor market, adjacent to Casemates Square, where you’ll find stalls of fresh produce and local delicacies including the delicious creamy sweet treat, Milhojas. From duty-free alcohol and tobacco to high-end boutiques and classic Spanish tapas bars, you’ve got five hours free time to explore Gibraltar under your own steam.
