Originally built by Sir Philip Courtenay in the 14th century and home today to the Earl of Devon, very little at Powderham Castle has changed in its 600 years of history and heritage. Explore inside the castle and hear stories of the many generations that have lived here, and discover acres of breathtaking landscapes, from the Rose Terrace and Castle Courtyard to the American Garden and the Belvedere. Beyond the gardens lies an expansive deer park, home to up to 600 fallow deer.
