Hand-Picked Hotel
The Dewberry
The Dewberry exudes elegance and class in the centre of Charleston; it's a mid-century masterpiece, lovingly renovated over an extended period of time with hand-crafted metalworks, period furnishings and thought-provoking artworks. The attention to detail here is second to none. Sandwiched between the green gardens of Wragg and Marion Square this is somewhere that soaks up the Southern style and provides the perfect setting for sightseeing and spa treatments. Head up to the rooftop cocktail lounge and you’ll be treated to some sensational views over the city. Private yoga classes are also held on the roof for sunrise stretching. And there’s also a fitness studio on the second floor if you’re looking to stretch still further. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, the Living Room restaurant is open for all-day dining in warm and welcoming surroundings. There’s no better place for breakfast before heading out to explore either on foot or on one of the hotel’s complimentary bicycles. If you’re looking to see historic Charleston, in style, The Dewberry is one to remember.
