Local Area
Nabq Bay is the northernmost resort in Sharm, and borders a protected nature reserve of coral reefs, desert dunes and mangroves. There are a handful of fairly new shopping malls nearby, but for more choice, you might want to head into lively Naama Bay, where you’ll find plenty in the way of shops, bars and restaurants. For something with a little more local flavour, Old Sharm is home to spice shops, souvenir stalls and shisha cafes. Both are around 30 minutes away by taxi.
Optional excursions
Optional excursions can only be booked in resort and are subject to minimum numbers
Aquascope
No trip to Egypt is complete without exploring underwater. However, with this half-day excursion you don’t even have to get your feet wet to experience what lies beneath the surface of Sharm el Sheikh’s warm waves. Transferring to Sharm el Maya (25mins) you’ll be invited aboard the Aquascope – a semi-submerged submarine with underwater viewing windows. This is how to experience some of the best snorkelling sites in the world as you pass over colourful coral reefs and gardens, alive with exotic fish.
