Tunisia is a destination shaped by history, culture and dramatic scenery. Along the Mediterranean coastline, ancient sites and modern towns share the landscape, while further south the scenery shifts to salt flats, desert oases and the Sahara. A long and varied past, including Phoenician, Roman, Arab and Ottoman influences, is reflected in the country’s architecture and heritage.
An escorted tour allows you to experience these different sides of Tunisia with ease. Guided visits bring the history to life, while the journey itself highlights the changing scenery. With a combination of included excursions and free time, there are opportunities to explore historic medinas, discover important cultural sites and enjoy time by the coast.

Desert safaris
The Sahara covers much of southern Tunisia and is typically explored by 4x4, travelling across desert plains, rocky terrain and sand dunes. Excursions may include visits to remote settlements and oases, offering insight into life in this arid region. The landscape changes throughout the day as light and temperature shift, with different views of southern Tunisia at different times.
