Sentosa Island is Singapore’s premier leisure destination, attracting holidaymakers from far and wide to experience its lovely selection of beaches, a waterpark and aquarium, adventure activities for all ages, and big-name attractions like Universal Studios and Resorts World Singapore. It’s also much-loved by Singaporeans, who come to escape the city.
It is, however, very easy to make this your base from which to explore Singapore. The island is connected by the Sentosa Express monorail which runs from the Beach Station via Imbiah Station (just three minutes’ walk from the hotel) to the VivoCity shopping mall, from where you can pick up Singapore’s fast and efficient metro system. The hotel also runs a complimentary shuttle bus to VivoCity and to various points on the island.
Changi Airport is around 25-30 minutes by car, and a taxi can easily take you anywhere you want to be in Singapore. It’s about 15 minutes to Clarke Quay or the ‘Gardens by the Bay’.
