Kata Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Phuket, and for good reason. Here you will find a beautiful bay of soft white sand, tropical trees that provide plenty of shade, and calm waters that are perfect for swimming and exploring.
There are many dining options within walking distance too, from Thai to worldwide dishes - finding a place to eat will never be a problem.
As well as relaxing at your hotel or on the beach, there are several activity options. The Wat Kitti Sangkharam temple is a short walk from the beachfront - a modest but beautiful temple on Kata Beach back road. It's also close to the Karon viewpoint, which offers stunning panoramic views from three nearby bays. Kata Beach is an easy reach to Phuket town (around twenty minutes away) and Phuket airport (around an hour away), providing a great base for more adventures.
