Park Hyatt Hotel and Villas
Relaxed luxury on Abu Dhabi’s premier beach destination
The Park Hyatt on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island is a truly relaxing resort hotel. It has direct access to nine kilometres of environmentally protected beach, but with all the attractions Abu Dhabi has to offer close at hand.
The beach – and its wildlife – are one of the hotel’s biggest draws. Expertly guided mangrove and dolphin spotting cruises are on offer, though dolphins and hawksbill turtles can sometimes be seen right off the beach.
The 306 spacious rooms, suites and villas are designed to blend right in to their natural surroundings. And of the four restaurants and bars, two are right on the sand. There’s also an impressive swimming pool (one of the largest in Abu Dhabi), and a golf course right next door.

Local Area
Saadiyat Island is five-minute drive away from downtown Abu Dhabi and has a very different feel to much of the city, protected from high-rise development and taking shape as a cultural centre of Abu Dhabi. It’s already home to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and several other museums and galleries are planned, including the world’s largest Guggenheim museum.
The island’s natural life is also a big draw. As well as the long, sandy beach, the Jubail Mangrove Park is a fabulous place to get to know some of the local wildlife. Long boardwalks allow you to explore easily, spotting everything from herons to gazelle.
Elsewhere in the city, you’ll find no end of shopping and entertainment to suit your mood. Yas Island is a fascinating place for sports fans – home to the city’s Formula 1 circuit as well as a marina and hundreds of shops and restaurants. If exploring the local culture is more your thing, make sure you visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, with its 82 white marble domes and huge mosaic artwork.
