If you’d like to explore a little more closely, camel treks followed by a sundowner desert 4x4 drives and private nature walks are on offer. Whichever villa you choose at Al Maha, you’ll be truly spoilt. Every villa comes with a private pool overlooking the desert, and a wooden deck with sun loungers. Canvas canopies provide much-needed shade. Each villa is furnished with Arabian artifacts and antiques, with spacious beds and ornate wooden doors. There are thoughtful touches too, like binoculars to watch the desert wildlife, an easel with art materials and Bedouin jars filled with fresh water and dates.
