Dukes the Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel
Hand-Picked Hotel
An elegant island escape on the ‘trunk’ of Palm Jumeirah
Dukes the Palm (as the name suggests) is set on the 'trunk' of Dubai’s famous Palm Jumeirah – a great spot from which to enjoy all that Dubai has to offer. This resort hotel with 279 rooms and 285 apartments offers all the luxury you might expect from such a location – and all right on its own private beach.
This is paradise for those who love to swim and sunbathe. As well as the beach, there’s an impressive infinity pool and a ‘lazy river’ style pool for ultimate relaxation. And if the midday sun gets just a little too warm? You can head to the chilled-out indoor pool on the 14th floor, and simply enjoy the view out to the beach.
Food at Dukes the Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel is also a big draw – particularly the well-regarded Indian dishes at Kyber & Ula and the elegant Great British Restaurant. Serving authentic British and international dishes from breakfast onwards, we think you’ll love the understated 20th century grandeur.

Local Area
The Palm Jumeirah is a thrilling place to stay, especially for those who like to stay close to the water – kayaking is favourite with both visitors and permanent residents.
Jumeirah Palm’s 11km boardwalk is a great place for a stroll. It runs right along the ‘trunk’ of the Palm and is dotted with street food trucks and cafes. As elsewhere in Dubai, you’ll find some excellent shopping at Nakheel Mall, along with a fantastic choice of bars and restaurants (if you can tear yourself away from the hotel’s outstanding hospitality…)
When it’s time for a change of scene, Dubai Marina and the lively Jumeirah area are just a short hop away in a taxi, or you can wander over to the Palm Jumeirah Monorail station at Nakheel Mall to explore the fronds and crescent of the Palm, including the impressive Atlantis Resort and Aquaventure waterpark.
