What was once a quiet fishing and pearl farming area has become the city’s tourist hub, with shopping and dining options at every turn. At one end of the beach, close to Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, is Dubai’s marina – home to superyachts, nightlife, and water sports.
If you’d like to learn a little more about Arabic and Islamic culture, pay a visit to Jumeirah Mosque. Visitors are welcomed with a tour and tasty Emirati snacks. A 30-minute taxi ride will take you to Dubai Creek, where you’ll get a taste of old Dubai and its enticing souks.
