The 830m high Burj Khalifa dominates the views from many of the hotel’s rooms – and a visit here is a must-do. Head up to the observation deck for the best views or enjoy snacks and champagne in The Lounge. Even if you don’t have a head for heights, you’ll find plenty to do in Downtown. The choreographed Dubai Fountain shoots water 50 storeys high, complete with lights and music. And there’s no end of shopping to be had – most notably in Dubai Mall (the world’s second largest mall by total land area).
