Hand-Picked Hotel

Laid-back, friendly beach resort on the east coast of Antigua

If you’ve always fancied an all-inclusive adults-only holiday in Antigua, the Pineapple Beach Club is a top contender. Soft white sand – tick. Choice of swimming pools – tick. Swaying palms, garden hammocks, water sports – tick, tick, and tick.

The accommodation here’s lovely, with 180 rooms and suites spread across 30 acres of beautiful beachfront, gardens and hillside. There’s no better place to rest and relax before getting ready to enjoy the resort’s restaurants and bars. The buggy ride up to the rustic Outpost Restaurant deserves special mention – expect incredible ocean views at sunset.

If you’re planning on working up an appetite, the Pineapple Beach Club has activities for everyone. Snorkelling, kayaking, and pedal boating are all on offer, alongside games of tennis, beach cricket and croquet on the lawn. If you’re up for some pampering, pop into the Tranquility Body & Soul Spa or take a stroll over to the relaxation station, where you’ll find a gently swaying hammock with your name on it.

Local Area

If you’re looking for the island of Antigua, you’ll find it where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic. It’s a stunning holiday spot with countless white-sand beaches ringed with natural harbours, tropical lagoons, and offshore coral reefs.

Natural landmarks such as Devil’s Bridge, on the east coast, offer incredible ocean views as well as blasts of salty sea water from the blow holes. Close to Devil’s Bridge is where you’ll find Pineapple Beach Club, 40 minutes’ drive from the island’s capital, St. John’s, and around the same from the airport.

Explore within the interior and you’ll find rainforests covering the rocky undulations of the Shekerley Mountains, including the highest point on the island, Boggy Peak – now known as Mount Obama. Elsewhere in Antigua, maritime history and seafaring stories are told. English Harbour, in the south of the island, is the best place to learn more about Nelson’s time in the Caribbean as well as making the most of the marina and seafood restaurants.

Please note

  • All-Inclusive Plan includes:
  • All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner); all beverages (name-brand spirits, house wine by the glass, draught beers, tea/coffee, tropical coolers and soft drinks by the glass); non-motorised water sports (e.g. snorkelling, stand-up paddle boards and pedal boats), morning nature walk, tennis courts and fitness centre.
