Daily guided excursions take you to some of Cyprus’s most rewarding habitats – from the coastal cliffs of Cape Drepanon to the pine forests of the Troodos Mountains – with the chance to spot both resident and migratory species. You’ll explore wetlands, river valleys and forested hillsides, returning each evening to a comfortable base by the sea.

Birdwatching in Episkopi Village

Look out for Bee-eaters, kingfishers and even Bonelli’s eagles, before exploring the area’s walking trails and environmental centre.
Location
The hotel enjoys an impressive location with direct access to the beach, and within 550 yards of local bars and tavernas. Regular buses run from the hotel to Paphos Harbour, just over eight miles away, for two euros per person. In Paphos Harbour you will find a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants as well as the historic sites of 13th-century Paphos Castle and the extensive Roman ruins of the Paphos Archaeological Park. You will also find cycling and walking routes nearby. The drive to/from the airport takes approximately 45 minutes.
Out and about
On the island’s southern coast, the extensive ruins of Kourion feature a Greco-Roman theatre, numerous mosaics, a bathing complex and more. Entrance costs around €5 pp and you can reach the site by bus in approximately one hour. Continue a little further by bus and you will reach the city of Limassol.
Limassol
The lively city of Limassol has a vibrant marina and promenade lined with shops. Take a stroll around the narrow lanes of its quaint Old Town, where you will find plenty of shops, a cathedral, town hall and medieval castle.

There are also three à la carte restaurants – Italian, Greek and Pan Asian (the latter two are seasonal and weather dependent) – you can enjoy one included à la carte meal once every seven days (reservation will be required; extra charge for additional meals). Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers and closed shoes in the main and Italian restaurants.
The free bar is open for 12 hours each day, between 1100-2300, and serves local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
