The parks and piazzas of central Montecatini are approximately 600 yards from the hotel, and a convenient funicular railway will take you up to the medieval village of Montecatini Alto, where you can enjoy sweeping views and relaxed cafes. The nearest bus stop from the hotel is 175 yards away. The drive to/from the airport takes approximately 45 minutes.

You are ideally located for exploring more of Tuscany independently. Pisa and Florence are only an hour’s drive away, where you can marvel at the famous Leaning Tower and discover a wealth of Renaissance treasures. Just 30 minutes away lies the medieval walled city of Lucca, where you can stroll along ancient walls, visit historic churches, and relax in charming piazzas. Siena, with its Gothic architecture is a one-and-a-half hour drive, while the rolling Chianti hills are just under an hour south.

Florence
Discover Renaissance Florence and see some of the city’s most celebrated sights and architecture, such as the famous Duomo, with its orange dome, built by Filippo Brunelleschi between 1420 and 1436. The cathedral is the largest building in Florence, containing 16th-century frescoes by Vasari.
