Peaks & Parks of the Rockies
Self-drive Holidays
This self-drive tour unveils the provinces of Alberta and British Colombia one breath-taking natural landmark at a time. No sooner than you’ve left Calgary you’ll be treated to the beautiful glacial lakes and pine-covered slopes of Banff National Park. Take your time to explore on foot or just sit back and soak it all in. Approaching the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, Jasper, via the Icefields Parkway is bound to be up there with your highlights. However, the small matter of the Yellowhead Highway and magnificent Mt. Robson, the Rockies’ tallest peak, might also be in the running. Although this independent tour is all about Western Canada’s stunning natural sights, there’s also plenty of time to get to know the towns and resorts too. Two nights in Jasper, midway through the trip, gives you a chance to rest and relax. Whereas, completing the tour with two nights in Vancouver lets you celebrate and see the sights in style.
