Rocky Mountaineer - Rockies to the Red Rocks

This incredibly scenic rail journey follows the course of the Colorado River as it meanders its way from Denver, Colorado to Moab, Utah (or vice-versa) via the geothermal resort town of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. It’s a wonderful opportunity to slow down and observe the passing scenery from the comfort of an air-conditioned carriage. This is less a train trip and more a journey through time. You’ll have a chance to witness canyons and cliffs carved over millennia as well as some unimaginable feats of engineering. The bend of the Big Ten Curve and the Moffat Tunnel crossing the Continental Divide, are just a couple of the extraordinary man-made achievements.
