This beautiful boutique lodge has just eight suites, all of which are impeccably prepared to welcome discerning safari guests. It’s a fabulous setting, adjacent to a huge dam that provides an important source of water for the wild animals of Klaserie Game Reserve. It’s home to the renowned ‘Big Five’ as well as an impressive array of wildlife including: African elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, African wild dog, lion, leopard, and an abundance of buck.

All meals, and afternoon tea, are served in the Simbavati Waterside lodge. There’s also the opportunity to eat alfresco either at a candle-lit table under the stars or within the outdoor boma – an enclosed gathering place around an open fire.

During your stay, your included game drives will be in open-sided 4×4 game vehicles accompanied by knowledgeable guides. You’ll head out early mornings after a wake up coffee or tea, as well as on afternoon/evening game drives with the chance to spot nocturnal animals, including the big cats and enjoy a sundowner in a perfect bush setting. In between game drives, it’s the ideal time to relax and recharge by the pool or have a siesta. There’s also a gym if you fancy a work-out as well as lots of board games in the lodge lounge.

Suites are super comfortable with bathrooms, outdoor showers, and game viewing decks. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, and some come complete with a private plunge pool.
