Experience Komodo National Park onboard a traditional wooden sailing ship.

This nine-day adventure in Indonesia invites you onboard one of two traditional wooden Pinisi sailing ships – Ombak Putih or Katharina – bound for the volcanic islands of Komodo National Park. The ships are fashioned from a century-old, handcrafted technique and fitted with the latest safety gear and communications technology – as well as high-quality kayaks, SUP boards and snorkelling equipment. All meals are included, and double or twin en suite cabins provide a spacious place to rest and relax – there are six cabins on Katharina and 12 on Ombak Putih. There’s also a lounge and bar onboard both boats, as well as an outdoor dining area and well-stocked galley. After setting sail, you’ll search for Komodo dragons, swim with whale sharks, and discover coral gardens filled with tropical fish. Also on the itinerary you'll find volcanic hiking trails, swimming in sunken crater lakes, and traditional village culture.
