Beyond Resort Krabi
Hand-Picked Hotel
Award-winning beach resort tucked away in an uncrowded corner of Krabi
Beyond Resort looks out over gently bobbing fishing boats, flanked by dripping limestone karst rocks and rustling palms. This is where you get to enjoy mornings by the swimming pool followed by afternoons strolling over soft white sand before sunset.
Alternative ideas usually revolve around massages, beauty treatments and traditional Thai therapies at the Kanda Spa. Of course, if you’re in the mood for food, why not just follow your nose to the on-site bakery.
There’s also a modern fitness suite as well as opportunities to go snorkelling or kayaking around the bay. The resort’s restaurant conjures up Thai, Asian and international cuisine in addition to a contemporary inside/outside ambience.
Rooms are well-positioned and provide a calm space from where you can look out to sea or the pool from the comfort of your private balcony or terrace.
There’s a reason why Beyond Resort is quite rightly considered one of Krabi’s hidden gems – you’ll just have to come for a visit to find out a few more.

Local Area
The southwest province of Krabi has long been popular with travellers looking to escape to offshore islands, such as Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta. As a result, local fishing villages have turned into tourist-friendly towns, with hotels and bars occupying prime stretches of sand.
There are a succession of flights and buses arriving from Bangkok, every day, as well as ferries sailing to Railay Beach from Rassada Pier in Phuket. It’s a relatively quick and easy transfer, especially if you’re pushed for holiday time.
Despite the steady redevelopment of the coastline, this is still an area of outstanding natural beauty. You’ll discover white sand beaches and gigantic limestone karsts jutting out of the calm, shallow water like green gloved fists. Head inland and you can follow jungle trails leading to hot springs, hidden temples, and stunning emerald pools.
Krabi still has several traditional seaside towns - if you know where to look. Places like Nong Thale. It’s an unassuming location and not as touristy as Ao Nang, for example. There’s also plenty to do, but there’s not the same level of noise and neon.
A stroll over the soft white sand of Klong Muang Beach in Nong Thale, reveals perfect spots for snorkelling or watching the sunset without anyone else around. It’s one of Krabi’s hidden gems and well worth discovering for yourself.
