Twin Lotus Resort & Spa
Hand-Picked Hotel
Peaceful spa retreat on the white-sand coastline of Koh Lanta Yai.
Set against a crescent of white sand, fringed with swaying palms and forested hillsides, the Twin Lotus Resort & Spa has everything you’d want from a tropical Thai getaway.
Guest rooms are done out in an airy, colonial style, and come with sleek wooden floors, and shutters. When you’re not relaxing here, there’s a sea-facing pool and the peaceful Bua Luang Spa to choose from.
Dining-wise, choose from al fresco meals and seafood dishes and Thai snacks served at the Barracuda beach bar. Both put an emphasis on fresh produce in a laid-back setting.

Local Area
The island archipelago of Koh Lanta has long-been a draw for snorkellers, sun bathers and nature lovers. Located just a 90-minute drive south of Krabi International Airport, the main island, Koh Lanta Yai, can be reached by a 20-minute car ferry and then by taking the Siri Lanta Bridge across from the smaller island of Koh Lanta Noi.
Although most travellers head directly to Koh Lanta Yai, there’s still a lot to be said for visiting the mainly Muslim Koh Lanta Noi. This is how to get a glimpse of traditional Thailand, where fishing villages and beaches are much as they were back in the day.
Aside from hiring a bike and pedalling off to explore, offshore you can enjoy sea kayaking, scuba diving and boat trips out to Mu Koh Lanta National Park. Cooking classes and spa treatments can also be found without too much trouble.
