Local Area
The Caribbean island of Jamaica is located around 140 kilometres to the south of Cuba. It’s the place to be for reggae music, spicy jerk fish grills and beautiful beaches. Getting here is no problem at all with three international airports and five cruise ports providing point of entry for sun-seeking holiday makers.
One such cruise port, Ocho Rios, is situated in the north between Dunn’s River Falls & Park and White River Bay. It’s an idyllic setting with unlimited golf at Upton Golf & Country Club contrasting with glass bottomed boat tours across the offshore coral reefs.
Explore elsewhere in Jamaica and you’ll discover the Bob Marley Museum in the capital, Kingston, as well as a beautiful botanical garden and the colonial-era heritage property, Devon House.
