Today you’ll take the train to one of Italy’s Renaissance crown jewels, Firenze – better known as Florence. Set in the heart of Tuscany, this pastel-coloured city sings to artistic souls, and you’ll be treated to a guided walking tour around the cultural highlights. Here you’ll find the Palazzo Vecchio (Florence Town Hall) overlooking the Piazza della Signoria and a statue of Michelangelo’s David. You’ll also be shown Brunelleschi’s Dome and find out more about one of the world’s largest churches, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore aka – la Duomo. Discovering Leonardo & vineyard aperitif

Learn more about one of the region's most famous sons, Leonardo da Vinci. Travelling by minivan or car you'll hear the stories that have shaped Tuscany en route to da Vinci's birthplace. After a look around the house and an interesting hologrammatic history lesson, you'll transfer to the town of Vinci. Take your time to explore the medieval alleyways and enjoy the picturesque panoramas as well as the life-size reproductions of Leonardo’s work within the Castello di Poppi. You'll also visit the Church of Santa Croce, where da Vinci was baptised, before transferring to a local farm to enjoy an afternoon aperitif and views across the vineyard before heading back to the hotel.
