Holiday location

Hotel Costa Calero Talaso & Spa map

Local Area

Lanzarote’s otherworldly landscapes are made up of a rugged volcanic terrain, whitewashed villages and clear-blue coastlines. From traditional towns to livelier resorts, there’s something for everyone on the island. The Hotel Costa Calero is located in Puerto Calero, on the south-east coast of Lanzarote, not far from the large resort of Puerto del Carmen - home to the island’s largest beach Playa Grande. While Timanfaya National Park and the capital, Arrecife are also close by, and well worth visiting if you can bear to tear yourself away from the sunbed.

Optional excursions

Optional excursions can only be booked in resort and are subject to minimum numbers

Playa Blanca on market day

Head to Lanzarote’s most southerly (and sunny) resort on market day to enjoy its sublime setting, backed by volcanic mountains and fringed by blond sandy beaches, and spot the millionaires’ yachts in the glitzy marina. There’s also time to browse the colourful stalls at one of Lanzarote’s best open-air markets where locally made jewellery is a popular souvenir.
