The lively main restaurant serves buffet-style meals and features a show cooking area where you can watch the chefs in action. The pool bar is open during the day and the lobby bar open in the evening depending on the weather. The exclusive Saga Club Lounge, with tea and coffee-making facilities, is conveniently situated between the two. The restaurant is likely to be busier during peak times of the year and you may have to queue to enjoy the live show cooking.

Local Area

The hotel stands in the quiet, elevated quarter of Puerto de la Cruz known as La Paz. It’s a great base for exploring, with various shops, bars and restaurants within easy reach, and some beautiful parks and botanical gardens less than 30 minutes’ walk away. The main square of Puerto de la Cruz old town is about two kilometres away and the beach is even closer, all easily reached by taxi, local bus or the Saga courtesy bus which runs from Monday to Saturday.

Take a scenic drive along the old road through Sauzal and Valle Guerra, leading to the breathtaking Socorro viewing point. Stop here to soak in the stunning vistas before proceeding to La Laguna, Tenerife's historic former capital and the oldest town on the island. Established in 1496, La Laguna derives its name from a once-existent lake, now a piece of history. You’ll then have a guided tour of the ancient city, now recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have free time to explore, whether you fancy shopping for local treasures or indulging in some refreshing treats.
