The hotel is located on one of the scenic ‘Rias Baixas’ of Pontevedra in the green landscapes of Galicia. The island of A Toxa features walking trails, thermal springs, a golf course, a small shopping centre less than half-a-mile from the hotel, and the unique Chapel of St Caralampio, which is covered in scallop shells. The fishing port of O Grove, known for its large indoor market hall and seafood restaurants, is less than a mile away and can be reached on foot via a level bridge that links Toxa to the mainland. The nearest bus stop from the hotel is approximately 500 yards away. The drive to/from the airport takes approximately two-and-a-quarter hours.
Out and about
The city of Pontevedra is approximately 30 miles away and is known for its Gothic St Maria la Mayor Basilica. While the capital of northwest Spain’s Galicia region, Santiago de Compostela, is home to the 11th-century Cathedral of St James and is approximately 50 miles away. Perhaps explore the wider Rías Baixas region, including nearby towns like Sanxenxo, approximately nine miles away.

The city is known as the final stop on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage trail. Its historic cathedral houses the shrine of the Apostle James and its UNESCO-listed Old Town features arcaded streets and impressive stone architecture.
