Walking in Galicia

  • Island of A Toxa, Galicia, Spain

This walking holiday in Galicia combines coastal scenery, peaceful riverside trails and the famous pilgrim routes leading to Santiago de Compostela. Daily walks range from 4 to 10 miles, with highlights including the beaches and coves of the O Grove Peninsula, the shaded paths of the Camino Portugués, the riverside mills along the Ruta da Pedra e da Auga, and a boat trip featuring fresh mussels paired with Albariño wine. The final stage of the Camino Francés leads you into Santiago’s grand cathedral square – a fitting finale to the journey.

Please note

On full day excursions, a packed lunch will be provided.

Walking in Galicia isn’t just a holiday, it’s an invitation to slow down, breath in the lush air, and let the land reveal its beauty one step at a time through woodland paths, eucalyptus forests and into the heart of Spain’s history.
