Local Area
Situated just over an hour’s drive south of Fort Myers, on Florida’s mid-west coast, Naples Bay separates the mainland from the Gulf of Mexico. It’s an enviable location with Everglades National Park just two hours south and Fort Lauderdale two hours east.
There’s plenty to do here with regular resort shuttles ferrying folk into downtown for 5th Avenue South shopping or over to the white sand of Naples Beach. You can also catch air boats down to the Everglades as well as hiring boats for fishing trips and sunset cruises.
Bike hire gives you a chance to pedal off along the boardwalks where you’ll find palatial properties and untouched stretches of sand. You can also try your hand at stand-up paddle boarding or rent a kayak to seek out egrets and otters amongst the mangroves.
