Location

Hotel Port Denia Map

The hotel is less than half a mile away from the golden sands of Marineta Beach. Denia Marina, with its selection of shops, eateries and boat hire, is just under a mile away. While the historic heart of Denia, just over a mile away, features narrow streets lined with lively street cafes. From here, you can walk up to the 12th-century, hilltop castle and archaeology museum. Browse the designer boutiques along the tree-lined Carrer Marques de Campo. Or find a pavement cafe in the Old Town to while away a few hour...

If you love Spain but you haven’t visited Denia before, I recommend you give it a try. It is a working port, busy with ferries and catamarans buzzing to and from the Balearic Islands, but it has real Valencian charm.

Optional excursions

Guadalest

1 / 6

We’ll be visiting the hilltop village of El Castell de Guadalest this morning and making the most of the valley views from its precariously placed medieval castle. This was once an important fortified stronghold for the Moors but has long since become a cultural hub for lace and crochet making. We’ll spend our time strolling around the winding cobbled streets and pausing at the craft workshops and small museums. It’s a very peaceful place with a baroque-style church and small tapas bars centring around the main square and town hall.
