Istanbul and the Turkish Riviera

This twin-centre starts on the Turkish Riviera, at the beachfront Akra Hotel. With six pools (including a spectacular infinity pool with in-water loungers), a spa and hammam, a host of bars and restaurants, and views across the water to the mountains of Beydağları National Park, you could spend your entire week relaxing at the hotel. You’d be missing out, though – nearby highlights include ancient Perge and Aspendos, the pine-edged cascades of Kursunlu Waterfalls, and Antalya’s picturesque old town. Your final three nights will be in colourful, captivating Istanbul. You’ll stay in the design-led Bank Hotel, housed in a restored 19th-century building in the city’s historic Karakoy neighbourhood. An included half-day tour will introduce you to the sights of the old city, while optional excursions could take you to the spice market, the Grand Bazaar or dazzling Topkapi Palace.
