Beginning in Vancouver, you’ll travel by rail wherever possible, with no fewer than five days spent enjoying two of Rocky Mountaineer’s legendary journeys. You’ll start with a three-day trip onboard the ‘Rainforest to Gold Rush’ route (Vancouver to Jasper). You’ll then see the highlights of the Canadian Rockies, including travelling along the stunningly scenic Icefields Parkway, before re-joining the Rocky Mountaineer for a two-day journey on the ‘First Passage to the West’ route (Banff to Vancouver). What’s more, you’ll do the whole trip in considerable style, with relaxed two-night stays in the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and Fairmont Banff Springs – all of them unique and all three iconic. Onboard the train, you’ll travel in ‘GoldLeaf’ service throughout, enjoying panoramic views from luxurious glass-domed, bi-level coaches.
